Dr. Chen is co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of DeepVisum. He received his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics in 2017. During his Ph.D. study, he focused on studying the effect of weather conditions on various disease transmission. He has developed many weather driven disease transmission models for the Peel Region and the GTA.
Leo is experienced from dealing with raw data to build and validate models. He has a solid background in statistics, mathematics, computer science and applied meteorology, which makes him a top contributor in solving real complex problems.
Especially Leo has strong background in computer hardware and software. Therefore, he is skilled of programming in many computer languages and very familiar with various hardware as well. He provide computer technical support to DeepVisum.
